Eternal Stability is a tribute to the quiet strength of stone — the enduring, unmoving presence that anchors us in an ever-changing world. This piece reflects on the non-living form as a source of grounding energy, where black quartz crystal embodies permanence, safety, and stillness.
Cracked white textures evoke the earth’s surface under pressure, while natural black crystal forms emerge from within, like tectonic truth revealed. Subtle resin-coated areas contrast with rough, raised textures, creating a bold yet balanced 3D effect. The interplay of matte and gloss, light and shadow, adds depth to the stillness.
This piece was constructed through sculptural layering and the integration of natural quartz — each material chosen for both its symbolism and form. The work invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the solid ground beneath all things.
